Overview

Increasing the efficiency in public sector reporting.

Webpages in a pre-existing portal were built to accommodate for new reporting requirements. There were 2 main phases of this project, a discovery piece and then a more in-depth design piece. During the discovery, the context was laid out and explored with internal stakeholders before engaging with external stakeholders to design the reporting pages.

The challenge

Users were told that they would need to change the way they reported important information to the client. However, the existing ways of working were slow and manual, which caused delays in data validation and processing. A new way of reporting was to be designed in collaboration with the users to help them achieve maximum efficiency and minimal burden with reporting.
